Jack Wood Water Lily
by John Wood

This lily has beautiful eye catching Red-Purple blossoms.
The petals are raspberry with butter gold centers. The ruby stamens add a delightful color combination to this lily.
It is a very profuse bloomer that will bloom continuously all through the summer months and well into fall.
It's a medium size plant making it great for all sizes of ponds.

Requirements: Tropicals need warm water.
In general, use 70F degrees as an absolute minimum water temperature for planting to avoid the tuber loosing all of it's pads and falling into dormancy. It's better to wait a couple of weeks until your water is warmer than to take a chance on planting too early and then loosing the plant. Once developed into a strong adult plant, this lily will be the last to stop blooming. Here in the desert where our nights fall into the 40's in December, we often get new flowers on this lily as late as Christmas.

See our pond tips about growing Tropical lilies where the pond can freeze thru the cold months.

You will receive a well rooted, young plant that is already developing many Lily pads.
This sale is for ONE yearling lily plant.
